Although there are many theories about personality, but most of these theories can be traced the origin of the idea to some theories (grand theory). Development of each major theory is not separated from the history of psychology itself and its characters.
Continuing development of psychology at the end of the 19th century, psychology evolved in different school of thought. If Wundt laid the foundation for psychology with a view of structuralism, then the next variety of the main stream that emerges is as follows.
