Other studies have shown that forgiveness has a positive effect on your psychological health.
Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, forgiving is releasing anything that has happened. This is indeed a pain, but the problem would go away if you let it go. Off with the burden of anger and hatred.

When you successfully make and release, there is the emotional relief that comes with forgiveness.
