We have all heard the term, "mixed messages." Messages that are vague, mixed, or unclear do not work in a computer and they don't work well in the human brain. If you want your new weight loss programs to be stronger than your old ones, the new programs must be clear, straightforward, and simple. Next up, Killer psychological strategy No,2. The new programs must use repetition. This is how we got our strongest programs in the first place, through repetition. A "message" you receive only once, or only occasionally, will almost never become a strong program. Programs are usually created by first getting the message repeatedly from an outside source. Then, as that program begins to take hold? the same program is repeated again and again unconsciously by our own internalization. And remember, each time the same program is repeated, that program pathway in the brain gets stronger, like putting another layer of pavement on a high way.
